Mobile Quiz
An Android music quiz app with track search, playlists, custom questions and audio previews.
Problem
Let users find music, create quizzes and test their knowledge using audio previews.
Implementation
- Native Android interface in Kotlin with search, album and playlist screens.
- Music search through Deezer API and Retrofit.
- Local Room database for playlists, quizzes, questions and answers.
- Question creation with one or several correct answers.
- Audio previews, score calculation and state preservation for the current quiz.
Decision
MVVM separates screens from application state, Room stores user data, and Retrofit connects the application to the music API.
Connect local questions and answers to the track catalogue while managing playback and game state across screens.
Outcome
The Android application's source code is published, including the quiz editor and music search.
