Problem

Create a custom storefront that the client can edit through WordPress while retaining WooCommerce's catalogue features.

Implementation

• Custom WordPress theme and Gutenberg blocks for the storefront.
• Blocks for the header, hero slider, product selections, brands and care guides.
• WooCommerce catalogue, product pages and dynamic attribute filtering.
• Swiper sliders and block settings in the editor.
• Docker environment and preparation of the theme and plugins for installation in WordPress.

Decision

WooCommerce manages products and shopping flows. The custom theme and plugins handle the design and editable blocks without duplicating the platform's features.

Preserve the custom storefront design while allowing editors to manage content, product selections and filters without changing code.

Outcome

Developed a shop theme and plugins with editable pages, product blocks and a WooCommerce catalogue.
